Hummus with Smoky Paprika Chipotle

Intro
I love hummus but I don't always have tahini (sesame seed paste) on hand. So I created this recipe without tahini. Serve chilled or served at room temperature.
Bowl of Smoky Hummus.

Ingredients

1 clove garlic

2 teaspoons Smoky Paprika Chipotle Seasoning

1 - 15 oz can Garbanzo Beans (chickpeas), drained and rinsed

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup roasted red peppers

1/4 cup cilantro

3 tablespoon olive oil

Directions

1. Turn on the food processor fitted with the steel blade and drop the garlic down the feed tube; process until it is minced.

2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor and process until the hummus is coarsely pureed. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

3. Serve with crackers or pita.

Substitutions
Recipe Tip:
For a twist, try this recipe with red kidney beans instead of garbanzo beans.
